Air Charter/Fly-out Options:

Yakutat Coastal - Hans and Tanya Munich

Yakutat Coastal seasonally operates a DeHavilland Beaver (that can seat up to 7 and land just about anywhere),  plus a Cessna 185 (on floats through mid-August).  Starting in 2010,  they have added a turbine Otter that can carry up to 10 fishermen plus all their bags in a single trip.  Yakutat Coastal's bigger planes can make it much cheaper for groups to get to and from the more remote rivers of the area.  They will also be renting foldable kayaks for remote wilderness trips this season - something I was planning to do with the next shop in the hangar,  but they beat me to it.  Click on the banner above to go to their www.flyyca.com web site.

Cascade Air - Jeff and Pauline Jordan

Cascade Air has seasonally operated the DC-3 out of Yakutat since the 1980's.  They are planning to have a Cessna 206 and may have a DeHavilland Beaver as well (that can seat up to 7 and land just about anywhere).  Click on the banner above to go to their  www.flycascade.com web site.

Alsek Air Service - Les and Debbie Hartley

Alsek Air operates two Cessna 206's and one Cessna 185 - on skis throughout the spring.  Alsek Air is the only year-round operator in Yakutat at this time.  Their web site is www.alsekair.com.
